Student Logon
Registered students have access to our Virtual University and Lampeter student email. The Virtual University provides access to course materials and other information, student forums and chat rooms for online tutorials. Use the links below to log in or submit an assignment.
Please note:
You are issued two different sets of usernames and passwords one for student email and one for the Virtual University.
Problems logging on?
Virtual University
Quick hints: Your Virtual University username is made up of the first three letters of your surname (in lower case) followed by your registration number. If your name is John Smith and your registration number is 1234 your username is smi1234. Your password was originally generated by a computer and contains a set of random UPPER and lower case letters and numbers; you need to type the password exactly as it appears in your welcome letter. Once you have logged on successfully you can change your password to something more memorable.

If you are a new student attempting to logon then please note that you will only be able to gain access to the Virtual University on or after your start date. If you are experiencing problems after your start date please let us know - we're here to help.
Student Email
Quick hints: Student email accounts are not administrated by the Department. Your username is made up of the letters vss followed by your registration number. If your registration number is 1234 then your email username is vss1234, and your email address is vss1234@lamp.ac.uk.
If you have forgotten your password please contact the helpdesk of the University of Wales, Lampeter.
New students, you will be sent a letter with your username and password for university email account within 28 days after your start date.
Assignment Upload
Please be careful to fill out the form correctly with your full name, registration number and module information. You should try to upload only one file, preferably in Microsoft Word format. You do not need to complete a seperate submission sheet if you use this form.
